Halloween Party!

Now, what is your favorite part of Halloween?

Here at The Place 2 Be, the best part of Halloween is our Annual Party! This year students and staff planned an event filled with a Haunted House, made from boxes donated by Teachers and Staff at Grange Middle School.

Students also decided that they wanted to fight it out in several contests that featured a  Whip Cream Eating Contest, and a Haunted Mummy Relay, where members worked  together , tying up their fellow teammates in massive amounts of Toilet Paper.

In the end our students were sent home with sticky memories from our Haunted Mystery Boxes, piles of goodies, and loads of laughter, from being frightened by our Haunted House Halloween Actors.

What will happen next year?

You'll just have to wait and see!

The Place 2 Be Garden!

The Place To Be just purchased its first piece of land in the Suisun City Community Garden. A beautiful 10 x 10 bit of earth located just 1.8 miles from Grange Middle School! In an effort to encourage our youth to eat healthy, grow produce and learn about the environment. We will be implementing art, landscaping design, cooking, science, and math into our lesson plans to support learning in our new garden. We will also bring a wide focus on nutrition, horticulture, and community service.

Stay  tuned to see what our students plant!
