The Place To Be just purchased its first piece
of land in the Suisun City Community Garden. A beautiful 10 x 10 bit of earth
located just 1.8 miles from Grange Middle School! In an effort to encourage our
youth to eat healthy, grow produce and learn about the environment. We will be
implementing art, landscaping design, cooking, science, and math into our
lesson plans to support learning in our new garden. We will also bring a wide
focus on nutrition, horticulture, and community service.
